Languages Take You Places !

Tama Mosier
Reporter for TV3 Christchurch, NZ

After completing a BA (Hons) in French, I taught English in Strasbourg (France) for a year as an assistante... I also studied French Literature at the University of Strasbourg and there I met my future husband.

Learning the language taught me to persist even when you feel you're getting nowhere, while studying French literature gave me strong research and writing skills. All these abilities are essential in my career as a journalist.
