Faculty of Law

Research Publications

The Victoria University Faculty of Law has two major research publications, the VUW Law Review and the New Zealand Journal of Public and International Law.

The VUW Law Review

Founded in 1953 by Professor Robert McGechan, the VUWLR is the oldest university law review in New Zealand.

It has a proud history of publishing significant legal articles not only relevant to New Zealand and the Pacific region, but internationally. It is distributed to 250 law schools in Australasia, the UK and North America.

It produces four issues a year - 8oo pages of quality research from the Faculty, its distinguished visitors and students, international scholars and colleagues from elsewhere in New Zealand.
