Culture and Property: Cultural Property?
The NZCIEL and the NZACL invite you to a symposium
Culture and Property: Cultural Property?
The relationship between property and culture and the meaning of cultural property raises diverse issues across areas of law and policy. There are, however, common themes such as the preservation, development and appropriate uses of culture, and the relationship of culture with land and sea. This symposium will explore some of these issues from a range of perspectives. The symposium is an opportunity to hear from visitors to Wellington from the University of French Polynesia and also from Victoria University’s own scholars. Please join us for this discussion.
