Learn NZSL online
Launch of new online resource to help you learn New Zealand Sign Language.
The Hon Nicky Wagner, Minister of Disability Issues, launched the Learn NZSL online resource at an event in Rutherford House on Thursday 6th April 2017.
The launch was livestreamed and viewed by over 3,000 people online. This resource adheres to second language learning and e-learning principles. It is hoped this resource will go a long way in promoting and maintaining New Zealand Sign Language as well as lifting the status of the language.
