Seminars/Workshops
The Health Services Research Centre hosts a seminar series on health services research and policy. These informal seminars are open to the public. If you wish to receive a notice about forthcoming sessions, please contact hsrc@vuw.ac.nz. In general, seminars on the first week of the month will be on a topic in social science and health, and those later in the month will be about health economics. The series gives an opportunity to scholars and others to share their research results, seek input for developing research, or discuss issues in health services and policy. The seminars are attended by people from many backgrounds, including policy analysts, health professionals, academics from a range of disciplines, and interested individuals. Usually up to 30 people attend each session, and we encourage discussion in an informal atmosphere.
