Nau mai, haere mae ki Te Whare Wānanga o Te Ūpoko o te Ika a Māui!
As a Māori student, you are an important part of Victoria’s student life. We have a strong and focused Māori community making up almost 10% of our student population. There is a friendly student support network to help you get the most out of your time at university, in both your study and your free time.
When you come to Victoria you’ll find we have a long history of interest and support in Māori issues and needs. Victoria was the first university in Aotearoa/New Zealand to offer a course in Māori Studies and the first to have a marae on campus.
