Over 20 sports clubs regularly train or operate out of the Recreation Centre. Clubs on campus cater for all, from beginners to social players right through to the pros.
The New Zealand University Games is the biggest sporting event on the student calendar. Held at a different campus each year, Universities compete in over 25 sports for the prestigious University Shield.
