The Online Course Catalogue provides a range of ways of viewing Victoria University’s course offerings, using the drop down menus at the top of this page.
1. Select a Subject: Choose the subject area of interest to you, or "All subjects". Please note that the "All subjects" listing is very long, and may take some time to load.
2. Select a Level: List courses at all levels for this subject, or select the level for which you want to see courses.
3. Show: There are two types of options available under "Show". The first applies to the subject area you have chosen. The second shows all subject areas for the specified trimester.
- Courses for
This shows the courses offered for your chosen subject area during the selected academic year, including fees information. Courses for 2012 are currently available. - Schedule for Trimester
This shows lecture schedules for all courses offered during the selected trimester, listed by level rather than subject. It includes courses that may have begun in a previous trimester. This listing does not include fees information.
When you have completed steps 1, 2, and 3, click "Find Courses" to display the listing you have chosen.
Within these options, you can click on the course name for detailed information about that particular course, including lecture schedules and locations.
Printable course catalogues are in text format, and are displayed in a pop-up window. Information shown includes the Victoria campus on which the particular course lecture stream is being offered, e.g. [Kelburn], where this applies. For more information, see our Introduction to the Campuses.
For timetabling information about labs, workshops, demos etc please go to the main Timetable website.

- The Fees Calculator and Course Catalogue now include 600-level (PhD) courses.
Fees Calculator
The Fees Calculator enables you to select a group of courses you are interested in studying and find out how much they would cost to study. Fees for 2012 courses are currently available.
The Fees Calculator can display either domestic or international fees information.
Please note:
- While we make every effort to ensure that the information presented is accurate, the Fees Calculator is indicative only. Your final fees account will be calculated and invoiced by Victoria University upon acceptance of your enrolment application.
- The Fees Calculator and Course Catalogue now include 600-level (PhD) courses.

Explanation of Terms
- Fees: The NZ dollar fee for domestic students (those from New Zealand and Australia) is shown. International students should use the international fees calculator.
- Calculator icon: Click on this to start a fees calculator, or add a course to your existing fees calculator
- CRN: Course Reference Number
- (Ln): Lecture Stream - for example (L1)=Lecture Stream 1
- Full year: Course is offered over a full calendar year
- Trimester codes: 1, 2, 3 - Course is offered during Trimester 1, 2, or 3
1+2, 2+3, 3+1 - Course is offered during the two trimesters shown - Rooms: For the location of buildings, see Maps.
