Bachelor of Tourism Management (Hons)
The Bachelor of Tourism Management (BTM [Hons]) programme offers a unique opportunity to undertake postgraduate study in Tourism Management.
The programme is distinctive in its design, integrating practical and theoretical learning combined with the strengths of Victoria Business School to give you the knowledge and tools needed to succeed in the rapidly evolving tourism environment.
Admission
Students may be admitted into the BTM (Hons) programme on completion of the BTM or with an equivalent background.
Work Load
The BTM (Hons) is normally a one-year full-time degree and comprises eight courses.
Commerce Disciplines
Some disciplines of the Victoria Business School, namely Economics, Economic History, and Public Policy, are also disciplines of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. While Bachelor of Arts (Hons) (BA [Hons]) and Masters of Arts (MA) programmes in these disciplines are taught by Commerce (Victoria Business School) staff, they are administered by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
The BA (Hons) and Bachelor of Commerce and Administration (Hons) programmes in these disciplines have a similar structure, and so do the MA and the MCA.
Graduate Diploma in Commerce
Victoria’s Graduate Diploma in Commerce is a flexible qualification designed for Commerce graduates who want to move into a new area of specialisation, and for graduates in other disciplines who want to gain a Commerce qualification from the equivalent of one year of further study. The courses selected for the Diploma must total at least 116 points from at least five 200 to 500 level courses, with at least 72 points at 300 level or above.
Specialisations following a specified programme are listed on the Victoria Business School's Graduate Diploma in Commerce page.
