Te Aro Campus

Te Aro Campus encompasses the Faculty of Architecture and Design near upper Cuba Street - drawing from its creative surroundings. With its huge atrium rousing frequent exhibitions of student work it features state of the art equipment and facilities including the largest AVID video editing suite in the country. All of this is accessible to all students while studying here with us.

We endeavour to provide our students with the resources and facilities specific to their needs and the development of their learning environment, which means having the latest tools and equipment.

  • A fully equipped construction workshop

Architecture and Design Library

The faculty has its own Architecture and Design Library that holds architecture, building science, industrial design, interior architecture, landscape architecture, and other design books, periodicals, maps, drawings, plans, and audiovisual material. A full range of reference, restricted loan and lending services is offered for this collection. Access to a wide range of electronic resources, including citation and full-text databases, is available online and on CD-ROM.

The Library has photocopying, scanner and printout facilities and a room for group study.
