What is the Certificate of University Preparation (CUP)?

The certificate is a one-trimester (three month) programme that prepares students for successful study at Victoria University.
Designed for New Zealand citizens or permanent residents, the programme specifically caters for
-
those who have normally left school at least one year prior to applying, and
-
those preparing for university study after a break of several years.
The certificate is offered in all three trimesters, commencing in February, July and November each year.
Hear what staff and students have to say about the CUP and what students can expect when taking part in the programme.
