Staff Directory Search Options
Search by Name and Simple Text Search
You can search by:
- first and last names
- phone extension
- position (e.g. Professor)
- school or unit (e.g. School of Music) and
- building (e.g. Rutherford House).
Staff Directory allows a fuzzy search on names. Enter a few of letters of both the first and last name e.g. entering “Sara” and “M” for Sarah McIntyre, will also bring up Sarah Proctor-Thomson.
If you are unsure of the staff members name or spelling of their name you can enter the first letter of the first or last name and add a wild card % to display related entries e.g. entering first name: J% will display all entries that have entries that start with "J".
Displaying results
You can choose to display the names:
- By last name
- By school/unit
- Main office number
This allows you to either obtain a main office number, or to pull a list of an entire department/school/unit.

Based on incoming calls for the past three months, the following are the most commonly contacted areas of the University:

Main Office Numbers
If you leave everything blank in the search criteria and select ‘Main Office Number’ in the ‘Show’ drop down box you will get a quick alphabetical list of main numbers into work areas.
Indicates the staff member has a Standard University Mobile phone number, which is 027 563 XXXX - the last 4 digits being the same as their University Extension.
Indicates the staff member has a Non-Standard University Mobile phone number - click on the icon to link through to a secure page which lists these numbers. You can only access this page from within the University network.
