CONFERENCE SUBMISSIONS
Submissions for the 2010 conference have been accepted. This page contains all the information you require to make your submission.
All submissions should address the 2010 conference theme: Making the links: Learning, teaching and high quality student outcomes.

We are particularly interested in the sharing of stories of success and achievement from the bridging educator community.
Papers will be collated into a volume of proceedings.
You are invited to submit a proposal to present in any of the following categories:
- Research or theory papers: Sessions will be 40 minutes duration; you should allow 10 minutes of this time for discussion. Submit a 300-500 word abstract including authors' names and affiliations or the full paper if you want it refereed. Email as a Word attachment to: address
- Workshop contributions: Workshops will be 40 minutes long. Contributors will be asked to speak for 15-20 minutes to describe an innovation, share a resource or describe a strategy from their practice, and to encourage discussion for the rest of the time. Submit a 300-500 word abstract including authors' names and affiliations. Email as a Word attachment to: address
Submission date for refereed papers: 6 August 2010 (closed)
Submission date for non-refereed papers/workshops: 6 August 2010 (closed)
Please note that all presenters must register for the conference.
Instructions for authors:
Please provide your paper title, author's name, contact email address, institution and department.
The subject line for your submission email should be Making the links: Abstract from (author's name).
Format requirements:
- Size 12 font Times New Roman throughout
- 1.5 line spacing on A4 paper
- 2.5 cm margins on all sides
- Pages numbered
- All headings bold
- Title page: Title of paper, name of author/s; their institutional affiliations and their contact email address
- First page of paper: Title of paper followed by your abstract with no identifying details
Referencing: Please follow APA referencing guidelines:
- List references under a section heading References.
- Long quotations (approximately 30 words or more) 10 pt, indented 1 cm from left and right margins.
- Footnotes appear at the foot of the page on which the reference appears, not at the end of the text.
- Word count: Papers should be of a length that reflects the 40 minute time slot for delivery and should not, generally, be more than 4000-4500 words.
