When To Pay
2010: All fees are due by the Friday before your course begins. For the majority of students this date will be 26 February 2010. When enrolling in courses after this date, fees are due upon enrolment.
Domestic students enrolled in a course of study longer than one trimester may pay their fees in two or three installments dependant upon the length of their course. To arrange this, please contact your Student Fee Advisors. Please note that, if you are an international student or are paying by student loan, you cannot pay by installments.
Failure To Pay in Full
If fees are not paid by the due date, a late payment penalty of $150 will be charged to your account. If you cannot make payment by the due date, you must contact your Student Fee Advisors.
Students paying by student loan should note that they remain responsible for following up with StudyLink to ensure that payment is received by the due date.
In the event of non-payment, you will be unable to enrol in other courses, receive a transcript or academic certificate, or have a degree conferred. The University reserves the right to temporarily cancel a student’s enrolment until full payment is received. Debt collection procedures may also be initiated through a debt collection agency.
Non-payment by international students may result in the cancellation of your Student Visa with Victoria University; notification of this will be sent to Immigration New Zealand.
Important note: Your Student ID card will only be issued or updated if your fee payments are up to date or if your student loan has been confirmed. This is important as you need your ID card to use the Library, access Halls of Residence, access the Student Computing Suites after hours, access discounts, etc.
