HIST 224 – New Zealand Labour History

An introduction to NZ labour history from 1880. Topics covered will include an analysis of class as a social relation and the extent to which class is mediated by gender, race and age; the changing relationship between work and leisure; and the attributes of the so-called 'traditional working class culture'. 100% internal assessment.
