At the NZSM you can major in a wide range of disciplines including: Classical Performance; Jazz (Performance, or Composition and Arranging); Composition (Instrumental and Vocal, or Sonic Arts); or the broadly based Bachelor of Music in Music Studies. That programme includes streams in Ethomusicology, Musicology and Jazz Studies.
Students can also major in Music in a Bachelor of Arts degree.
