Victoria Doctoral Scholarships

Victoria University offers an extensive scholarship program for PhD candidates. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic excellence and/or research experience and publication record.

From 2012, Victoria Doctoral Scholarships recipients are required to contribute 150 hours to the academic life of the School and University. For guidelines on the contribution, please see the information below.

Who is Eligible?

All prospective and existing full-time PhD students are eligible to apply for Victoria PhD scholarships, irrespective of residence or nationality.

Student Allowances and Loans

If you are a New Zealand Citizen, permanent resident or refugee, you may be eligible to apply for a student allowance and/or an accommodation benefit.
