Accreditation
The Faculty of Commerce and Administration is proud of its long tradition of strong links with overseas universities and international academic and professional bodies.
Since the first commerce degrees were offered at Victoria University, a high proportion of the academic staff teaching and researching in business and economics has had experience working overseas. We continue to attract many international students to our graduate, postgraduate, post-experience and doctoral programmes.
In a natural extension of the traditions of internationalisation, which are well captured in our Mission, the Faculty continually seeks formal accreditations and certifications from international organisations.
We are proud to hold the following accreditations and certifications:
Tourism
Our tourism programmes were granted TedQual certification by the World Tourism Organisation in 2006 and gained re-accreditation during 2009. To find out more about the accreditation, visit the Victoria Management School Accreditation page.
MBA
Our MBA and International MBA (offered in Hong Kong) programmes were accredited by the Association of MBAs in 2008.
To find out more, visit the Victoria Management School Accreditation page.
Accounting
Our accounting programmes hold three accreditations:
- Accreditation from the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants (NZICA)
- Accreditation from CPA Australia
- Accreditation by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA)
