CAD/Design Computer Laboratories
The Faculty’s computers are a high-performance large-screen CAD workstation, connected to a high speed central server network. A wide range of design, drafting, modelling and animation software is available to cater for the requirements of various courses. Typical specifications of the latest 2011/12 computer workstations are Windows 7 Professional running on Dell Quad workstations with 8 or 12 GB RAM and 1GB graphics cards DVD burner, USB2 and Firewire connectivity.
