Architecture and Design student association wins association of the year
The Faculty of Architecture and Design’s student association STUDiO, have won the 2016 Faculty Students’ Association of the Year.
STUDiO’s goal is to enhance the lives of students studying architecture and design.
They hold social and sports events throughout the year, including the celebrated annual ball, organise design competitions, provide one-on-one mentoring and free bread for students.
They are also responsible for student representation on the Faculty Board.
The team are led by Austin d’Souza who says “We are extremely happy to have won. It’s good to know that we have made a positive impact in the students’ lives, and we’re grateful for being recognized.”
