School of Architecture's 40th Anniversary

Victoria University of Wellington's School of Architecture is celebrating its 40th anniversary on 18-19 March 2016 and you're invited to attend!
The School was formally established in 1975, and in March 1976 the first class of architecture students entered the School.
On Friday 18 March an academic symposium titled Global Architecture in the 1970s will take place from 9am-5pm at the School of Architecture. Tickets to this event can be purchased on Eventfinda. A full programme is also available to download.
The day will then conclude with a cocktail evening at The Boatshed on Wellington's waterfront from 6pm. Please register on Eventfinda for this free event.
On the Saturday an alumni celebration will take place at the School of Architecture from 10am-6pm. There will be staff and alumni presentations throughout the day, as well as an exhibition about the history and future of the School. You will also need to register for this free event on Eventfinda.
If you'd like to submit a story, anecdote, quote or photographs of your time at the School of Architecture to be exhibited on an interactive display board during the anniversary weekend, please email these to architecturevuw@gmail.com by Wednesday 2 March 2016.
