Bachelor of Education (Teaching) Early Childhood Upgrade

On this page:

Overview

The Bachelor of Education (Teaching) Early Childhood Upgrade programme is designed to offer practising early childhood teachers the opportunity to build on the knowledge and skills gained during their previous studies and teaching practice.

The BEd(Tchg)EC Upgrade is is an ideal upgrade qualification if you already have a Diploma of Teaching (ECE), its New Zealand Qualifications Authority equivalent or a Kindergarten diploma. Credit awarded for your diploma can go towards the undergraduate qualification. Online delivery allows you to continue to teach and study in your own community.

Note: The BEd(Tchg) Upgrade is being phased out. The final opportunity to commence study in this programme will be in January 2015. Students who have a previous enrolment are encouraged to complete the programme by the end of 2015.
