Institute for Early Childhood Studies
IntroductionThe Institute for Early Childhood Studies was established in 1995 to promote quality in:
(The name, Te Pūmanawa Rangahau kōhungahunga, describes "a place of study and research on important matters related to young children". Pūmanawa = getting to the heart of the matter, Rangahau = research and study, kōhungahunga = young children.) The AimsThe Institute brings together early childhood teachers, researchers and other professionals to work collaboratively on a range of projects to contribute to the knowledge base for early childhood education.
