CHEM 191

Introductory Chemistry

This online summer bridging course may be used either to provide the basic chemical concepts and laboratory skills desirable for the study of chemistry at university level or as a refresher course for those who have studied chemistry in the past. It is highly recommended for BBmedSc students who do not have an adequate background in chemistry. While CHEM 191 is designed for students with little or no previous experience of chemistry, it may be taken for credit by any student who has not already passed a higher level chemistry course. It is offered in two streams. Stream 1: 16 Nov 2015 to 21 Feb 2016 (CRN 7193) and Stream 2: 5 Jan to 21 Feb 2016 (CRN 23006). Compulsory laboratory week at Victoria for both streams: 15 to 18 February 2016.
