The New Zealand Contemporary China Research Centre organises a series of annual events including an international conference, a regional symposium and a series of vistor, exchange and lecture programmes as well as collaborative research projects and maintaining the National Online System of Access to Information on China (NOSAIC). The Centre supports collaborative research projects on contemporary China.
The Centre develops visitor, exchange, scholarship and China Lecture programmes.
The Centre organises the Wellington Conference on Contemporary China annually.
The Centre establishes and maintains the National Online System of Access to Information on China (NOSAIC).
The Centre organises China Symposia at least once a year in regional centres for public policy discussion and debate on China-related issues that have significant impact on New Zealand.
