Campus Services negotiates and manages all insurance policies for the University. This includes buildings, liability, marine and vehicle fleet insurance.

There are two types of travel insurance available to Victoria University staff:
Campus Services needs to be contacted in the following instances:
- Equipment with a value of greater than $500,000 is to be taken off campus. In this situation, insurance cover needs to be specifically arranged. This includes equipment being taken on field trips.
- Assets of greater than $1,000,000 are to be purchased.
- Equipment that is being taken on a boat or underwater.
