University Kids Wellington is a home-away-from-home for tamariki (children) where they can play, learn, and make friends in a safe and stimulating environment.
Caring for tamariki from birth to school-aged, we welcome enrolments from staff, students, and the public. We have flexible options to suit all situations, so get in touch to find out if University Kids Wellington is right for your whānau (family).

Our Fairlie Terrace Centre is close to Kelburn campus, where your child will enjoy the bright and warm atmosphere and sunny, sheltered garden.

Flexible options
We offer a range of fees and session times so that you can choose what’s best for you and your whānau. We also participate in the Ministry of Education’s 20 hours ECE subsidy scheme, and can help you access a Work and Income or StudyLink childcare subsidy.
