BEIMS is the Building and Engineering Information Management System used by Campus Services to assist in the management and maintenance of buildings, plant and other company assets.
BEIMSWeb Remote Request
BEIMSWeb or Web Remote Request (RRS) allows individuals within a department to report and track faults or submit and track service requests for maintenance, cleaning, or engineering work.
Any VUW staff member with a pc that has access to the internet and has been assigned a username and password can create and submit a request.
You can receive feedback on the approval or rejection of a request, via email.
Remote Requests are intended to be raised for one job at a time. Multiple job requests require a separate remote request number for each job.
If you would like access to BEIMS Remote Request, email BEIMS Support@vuw.ac.nz with the full name and phone number of the person requiring access.

The BEIMS database stores information on assets (plant and equipment) in the VUW buildings down to room level. If you would like to request room or building information changes in BEIMS, please email BEIMS Support

Full BEIMS Access
Staff who require access to update and approve work orders, or run reports will require full access to BEIMS via a remote desktop connection to the BEIMS server.
The prerequisites for full BEIMS access are;
- Current VUW staff account
- The above staff account added to FM-BEIMS RDP access security group
- Current BEIMS account

BEIMS ContractorWeb
ContractorWeb offers a convenient and flexible online based service for accessing job information for work orders allocated to a contractor through BEIMS.
The basic features & functions of ContractorWeb are the ability to;
- view all work orders that are assigned to your company (supplier or contractor)
- update the status of a work order i.e. change status to Complete to close off a work order, and add comments regarding the work order
- print a work order
- update your company details

Troubleshooting
- ContractorWeb - unable to access the login page.
Check your browser settings. You must have cookies enabled, JavaScript enabled and for optimal performance ensure that you are running the lastest version of Internet Explorer.
