Editorial Policy

AntePodium aspires to be as open to contemporary scholarly research in the discipline as possible. As an online journal it is consciously cutting-edge. It warmly welcomes contributions from scholars working in disciplines other than those conventionally known as falling under the umbrella of "world affairs". And it strives to foster the broadest possible conception of what "world affairs" might mean.

AntePodium aims to make what it publishes available using the full resources of the Internet. As would be expected of a scholarly journal, all papers submitted to AntePodium are subject to peer review.

What we are looking for:

- a high standard of scholarship

- meaningful innovation, creative thinking, and critical impact

- original theoretical perspectives that turn received notions of world affairs upside-down

What we are not looking for:

- applications of conventional theory to narrow case-studies

- ivory tower academia without import for the world beyond university gates

- research that refuses to acknowledge its contingent and ideological presuppositions.
