Bachelor of Architectural Studies
The Bachelor of Architectural Studies (BAS) degree is a three-year programme of full-time study that provides students with a comprehensive grounding in the built environment specific to your chosen specialisation.
This undergraduate degree leads into two-year Master’s level qualifications in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Landscape Architecture and Architecture History and Theory. Master’s students can extend their undergraduate specialisations and pursue other areas within their chosen disciplines that can be supervised within the School of Architecture.
The degree comprises a general BAS first year programme of 120 points, followed by two years of study in one of the following specialisations:
- Architecture
- Architecture History and Theory
- Interior Architecture
- Landscape Architecture.
Bachelor of Building Science
The Bachelor of Building Science (BBSc) degree is a three-year programme of full-time study that provides a thorough grounding in the science and technology of buildings, structures and an understanding of architecture. Providing students with the skills to creatively apply knowledge to technical construction situations.
This undergraduate degree leads into the two-year Master of Building Science for those wishing to become professional Project Managers, Sustainable Engineers, Building Scientists or those wanting to pursue a satisfying career in the building industry.
The degree comprises a general BBSc first year programme of 120 points that you will share with students in first year of the BAS. Followed by two years of study in one or both of the following specialisations:
- Project Management
- Sustainable Engineering Systems.
