Research interests

My current research interests include:

  • connections and transferences between practice and theory
  • architectural representational media
  • design process
  • relation between the body and the built
  • architectural practice as an experimental activity and built projects as a form of critical practice.

Current research projects

I am engaged in several buildings in the design phase and I am also working on a research project linking theories of affect with architectural representational media.

In collaboration with Jan Smitheram, we are examining the relationship between the body and the built in terms of theory, practice and design process. Papers currently under preparation address questions of architectural representation, performativity, occupation and affect. Our research will be made available through conferences and journal publication.
