Undergraduate Study Options

Two different degrees are offered by the School of Architecture:

Bachelor of Architectural Studies

The Bachelor of Architectural Studies is a three year programme of full time study that provides students with a comprehensive grounding in this subject, whether they wish to progress to a professional postgraduate programme or not.

The degree comprises a general BAS first year programme of 120 points, followed by two years of specialised study in one of the following specialisations:

  • Architecture
  • Architecture History and Theory
  • Interior Architecture
  • Landscape Architecture

Bachelor of Building Science

The Bachelor of Building Science (BBSc) degree is a three year programme that provides a thorough grounding in the science and technology of building and an understanding of architecture.
