Robyn Bargh is an experienced director and the founder and former Managing Director of Huia Publishers.

Robyn Bargh is an experienced director and the founder and former Managing Director of Huia Publishers. She is currently a director of the Māori Arts and Crafts Institute in Rotorua. Robyn is a former chair of Te Awhiorangi Te Reo Māori Television Trust and was a member of the establishment group for Māori Television. She has chaired boards of the Māori Literature Trust, Booksellers New Zealand and the theatre company Taki Rua Productions.

Robyn is the Deputy Chair of Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Kea Ngāti Tuara, and is involved in recording the hapū history and negotiating a Treaty settlement with the Crown.

She has worked in the public sector at the Ministry of Women’s Affairs, the Department of Justice, and the State Services Commission. Robyn is also a trained teacher.
