The Faculty of Health Te Wāhanga Tātai Hauora is Victoria’s newest Faculty, established in 2017.
It brings together researchers and teachers from across the University to help prepare the next generation of health sector professionals to make a difference to New Zealanders’ health and wellbeing.
The Faculty of Health will focus on subjects such as health promotion, health policy and health service delivery as well as other subjects to be announced. These are areas in which Victoria excels, alongside our traditional strengths in public policy, government and business. Our proximity to government departments and agencies is an added strength.
We are planning to start teaching undergraduate courses in Trimester One, 2018. We are also developing a suite of postgraduate programmes that can follow in areas such as occupational health and safety, and management and leadership in health.
More detailed information about the Faculty’s teaching programme will be available in mid-July. If you have an enquiry about Victoria's new Faculty of Health, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
