The Language Learning Centre
Enhance your language learning with the Language Learning Centre (LLC), which supports the teaching and learning of languages at Victoria University. The LLC holds multimedia language learning materials in about 50 languages. All students on short language courses can access the centre at no extra cost while they are studying. More >>
FAQs
Our classes are a maximum of 20 students except for New Zealand sign language which is limited to 16 students.
How do I know what level to take?Check the course outline on our course listings to see what topics are covered by each course. Give us a call if you are still not sure what level to take and we can discuss it which option is right for you.
How do I find out about the tutors?Tutor details are listed along with the course information on each course listing.
Do I receive certification at the end of the course?You receive a certificate of attendance at the end of your course.
What resources do you provide?We provide course materials and CDS for many of our courses and access to the Language Learning Centre for the duration of your course.
Do you offer one-to-one language tuition?Yes, we do. Please contact us for more details.
Can I arrange a language course for my work team?Yes, you can. We can provide a language course from the existing languages we offer or work with you to provide a course customised to your needs across a wide range of languages. Please contact us for more details.
Can I suggest a language course that you don't already offer?Yes please. If there is a enough interest we may be able to arrange a class or provide you one-to-one tuition. our contact details can be found under contact us.
